CACFP Bootcamp for New Employees

Are you new to CACFP?  Are you wondering what your responsibility is as a State agency employee? If your answer is yes to these questions, the CACFP Bootcamp is for you!  This 3-day interactive training is designed to provide an overview of the CACFP and to assist new CACFP employees in understanding the State agency’s role in administering the CACFP.  Each topic correlates to a specific role required to administer the CACFP at the State level.

CACFP Bootcamp for Monitors

One of the key CACFP responsibilities of the State agency is to monitor its Institutions to ensure compliance with CACFP regulations.  How monitoring is administered may vary from State to State. This training will take a deep dive into the CACFP monitoring requirements and will provide a roadmap with best practices on how to conduct monitoring reviews effectively.

This training will provide State agency staff with the skills necessary to conduct a CACFP monitoring review; questions to ask to determine compliance; and a sample monitoring tool that can be used in conducting monitoring reviews.  The training will be interactive and State agency staff will have an opportunity to conduct a mock monitoring review.
