MHMC offers training webinars on a variety of accounting, grant compliance, and business development and business infrastructure topics.

April 21, 2021: MHMC was part of a skilled team of presenters that participated in the NCA 2021 Virtual Child Nutrition Conference.  Hundreds of conference attendees participated in multiple engaging sessions related to child nutrition programs.  MHMC delivered a dynamic session on investigating fraud waste and abuse in federally funded programs.  The session focused on red flag indicators in the CACFP and SFSP. More than 600 attendees accessed our training!

May 25, 2021, thru June 24, 2021:  The MHMC CORE team conducted a virtual conference for USDA FNS.  Sessions were conducted weekly over this 5-week period on each of the 9 CORE topics.  FNS personnel from headquarters and each of 7 FNS regional offices were part of an interactive virtual training journey that delivered practical solutions for CACFP administration.

July 13, 2021: MHMC kicked off Day 1 of the CACFP NPA conference with an informative presentation on the impact of PPP loan forgiveness and reported CACFP costs.  Well over 100 State agency participants were engaged in this session and received a practical understanding of their responsibilities related to evaluating relief funding grants and forgivable loans received by CACFP subrecipients.

The purpose of the CACFP National Professional Association in part is to provide a national network through which selected ideas, materials, and procedures can be communicated to persons working in the CACFP community.  As well as to increase opportunities for professional development for staff working in CACFP. August 5, 2021: MHMC is hosting a live webinar exclusively for State agencies that approve indirect cost rates on DOT projects.  Participants will learn how to evaluate indirect cost rates in conjunction with PPP loan forgiveness. We have also incorporated a live Q&A is stimulate peer to peer collaboration.
