Preparing for an administrative review hearing in the CACFP requires organization, documentation, and a clear understanding of the issue being appealed. Whether it is a proposed termination or disallowed meals, proper preparation or lack of preparation can affect the outcome.
Understanding and preparing for an Administrative Review Hearing is a virtual training designed to provide professionals with a thorough understanding of the administrative review hearing process and best practices for preparing for and conducting an administrative review hearing. Participants will learn the regulatory framework that guides the administrative review hearing process and the tools and techniques to present a and assess an appeal.
By the end of this training, participants will be equipped with the knowledge to understand the administrative review process, the roles and responsibilities of the administrative review officer, and administrative review timelines.
